The Ligue

The Ligue Medico-Sociale, faithful to its commitment, has been working since 1908 as a forerunner in the medico-social and social fields throughout the country. In its interventions, both at the level of medico-social services - prevention of respiratory diseases, school health, education and health promotion, help to stop smoking - and at the level of social services - social support, over-indebtedness advice, help for professional reintegration - the Ligue focuses its efforts on prevention, an essential pillar of its activities. The Ligue's 140 staff members, working in the 13 medico-social centres, directly and indirectly reach nearly 100,000 people every year, i.e. about 1/6th of the population of the Grand Duchy.
